Food Freedom by Dennis Hughes Natural Products Expo began in ‘81 At Anaheim Convention Center, three days in the sun We started with 200 booths, in an upbeat mood To give us all more choices, for healthy natural food It became an annual pilgrimage, a gathering of the tribe To share our love and knowledge and help us to survive To heal the broken food chain, we set out to do To make a better world, with wholesome natural food We took a stand food freedom, our banner was unfurled We were on a mission, to make a better world Good for people good for planet, the only way to go Revolutionary spirit, at the Natural Product Show The Expo grew into spring and autumn shows Now we come together, at East & West Expos Next fall in Philadelphia, we'll gather from all lands Let's make a global circle, dancing as we raise our hands Now it's 2021 and we have come so far From small movement to big industry. rising to the stars 100,000 people will attend the shows this year Listen to us sing together, this is what you'll hear We take a stand food freedom, our banner is unfurled We are on a mission, to make a better world Good for people, good for planet the only way to go Revolutionary spirit at the Natural Product Show |
